AXIS: Your Launchpad for Tech Exploration
AXIS is a platform designed for anyone passionate about emerging technologies. Our program welcomes students, faculty, and community members to delve into the potential of AI, VR, or any other emerging technology you are interested in. We'll explore how these technologies are shaping our world, discuss ethical considerations, and equip you with the knowledge to use them effectively.

AXIS is fueled by the expertise of our incredible partners. Here's a glimpse into some of the leaders who will be guiding our exploration:
The Innovation Hub: Our founding partner has been instrumental in creating AXIS. Their VR initiative, Realms, provided the inspiration for this program and will be a part of AXIS every Friday.
Spark: Spark’s Creative Director Gerhard Freundorfer, a leader in generative AI, will join us regularly to explore the possibilities of AI, including custom GPT creation, text-to-video generation, and prompt engineering.
Michael Carter: The program coordinator for the Computer Systems Technician program at St. Lawrence College, will bring his expertise in AI to AXIS. He'll share the latest advancements and help us stay ahead of the curve.
Starting Conversations with "Small Talks"
AXIS isn't about lectures! Our "small talks" forum provides a platform for community members to lead discussions on their areas of interest within emerging tech. Whatever you may be passionate about, share your knowledge and spark insightful conversations. We highly encourage anyone within our community to consider presenting their project at AXIS!
