Event Planner - Manage Your Money Project

Role Overview:

As an Event Planner for the Manage Your Money project, you will play a crucial role in empowering youth with essential financial literacy skills. You will develop and lead engaging workshops, utilizing materials created by our content developers. Your responsibilities will include crafting interactive exercises, real-world scenarios, and providing valuable resources to ensure participants gain practical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement workshops focused on financial literacy for youth.

  • Collaborate with content developers to adapt educational materials for workshop delivery.

  • Create engaging exercises and scenarios that resonate with youth participants.

  • Coordinate logistics for workshop events, including scheduling, venue selection, and resource management.

  • Promote workshops within the community and encourage youth participation.

  • Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve workshop content and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Passion for financial education and youth empowerment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Previous experience in event planning or educational programming is an asset.
