Manage Your Money

Manage Your Money is one of Enactus SLC's oldest running projects, demonstrating our long-standing commitment to improving financial literacy in the community. This vital initiative is designed to help vulnerable women and international students navigate their financial challenges. In partnership with the Elizabeth Fry Foundation and St. Lawrence College, we focus on equipping these groups with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their finances effectively.

The project includes a series of engaging workshops that cover important topics such as budgeting, taxes, debt management, credit, and the Canadian economy. These workshops aim to reduce financial stress and empower participants to handle their financial responsibilities with confidence.

In addition to the workshops, we are excited to introduce an asynchronous online course. This course will allow participants to learn at their own pace, making it easier for those with busy schedules to access valuable financial information. The online platform will provide clear lessons on essential financial topics, helping participants understand how to manage their money better.

With the recent expansion of our program to the Cornwall region through the Cornwall Enactus group, we can reach even more individuals who can benefit from enhanced financial literacy. Participants will gain practical skills and solutions for everyday financial situations, such as managing living costs and planning for the future.

As one of our oldest projects, Manage Your Money reflects our ongoing dedication to fostering financial independence. By increasing understanding of financial matters, we prepare participants to face any challenges that may come their way, ensuring they feel secure about their financial futures.
