About Chill Zone

Chill Zone is an ongoing initiative by Enactus SLC dedicated to promoting mental wellness within the St. Lawrence College community. We provide a relaxing and supportive environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members to de-stress, connect with others, and prioritize their well-being through activities like mindfulness exercises, creative projects, and connection games.

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team for the Chill Zone project. This role involves promoting Chill Zone events and initiatives through various channels, including social media, blog posts, website updates, and print materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow Chill Zone's social media presence, creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and interacting with the community.

  • Event Capture: Document Chill Zone events through photography and videography, capturing key moments and participant interactions.

  • Blog Writing: Write informative and engaging blog posts about Chill Zone events and initiatives, highlighting key takeaways and participant experiences.

  • Website Updates: Maintain and update the Chill Zone section of the Enactus SLC website with current information about events and resources.

  • Print Materials: Design and create print materials such as posters and flyers to promote Chill Zone events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms for marketing purposes.

  • Experience with photography and/or videography.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Passion for mental wellness and community engagement.
