Operations Manager

Position Overview

The Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all Enactus SLC projects. This role involves collaborating with Team Leads to manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, as well as tracking and reporting project impact. The Operations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for teams, ensuring they have the resources necessary to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Work closely with Team Leads to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring responsible spending and accurate financial tracking. Assist Team Leads in budget development and monitoring.

  • Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and avoiding conflicts. Facilitate communication between teams regarding scheduling and logistics.

  • Impact Tracking & Reporting: Develop and implement systems for tracking and reporting project impact. Support Team Leads in collecting data and documenting project outcomes.

  • Resource Allocation & Support: Act as the central point of contact for teams, providing support and securing necessary resources (materials, equipment, funding, etc.) to ensure project success.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve overall project management practices.

Qualifications

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Financial Literacy: Basic understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges efficiently and effectively.

  • Resourcefulness: Ability to effectively identify and secure resources to meet project needs.

  • Data Analysis: Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods is a plus.
