St. Lawrence College Students will teach Syrian newcomers how to use Kingston Transit

Syrian newcomers to Kingston will have the opportunity to learn about the bus system in Kingston thanks to a partnership between Enactus St. Lawrence College (SLC) students, Kingston Transit and the Kingston Immigration Partnership (KIP) administered by Kingston Community Health Centres. The Syrian Newcomers Transit Orientation will take place at Kingston Community Health Centres at 263 Weller Avenue on Thursday, Dec. 15 starting at 10:30 a.m. The in-class training will take approximately 60 minutes, followed by on-bus training and a tour of city streets.
